What brought together three world-class authors, one imam, two pastors and the former mayor of Baghdad to talk about peacebuilding, reconciliation and a bold path to peace?
Trac5 hosted its first Community Forum in Parker, Colorado on June 13, 2011. The goal in organizing this diverse panel of Muslims, Jews and Christians was to provide a powerful experience for the community to come together and see local leaders, as well as two out-of-town guests, dialoge in a friendly and loving way. They discussed matters of faith, answered difficult questions from the audience and respectfully shared their hearts and passions.
The event drew a diverse crowd of more than 100 guests. At the appropriate time, there was an intermission to allow for the sunset (Maghrib) prayer time. This event was held at Villa Parker, a beautiful event center located in the heart of the city of Parker on the outskirts of Denver.

Trac5 is making plans for more Community Forums in various locations at this time. If you are interested in helping to organize a Community Forum in your area please email Mark Casey.
