Building relationships is an important component of Trac5. At the foundation of every success of this model are the personal relationships formed by years of walking and praying together.
We engage religious, political, marketplace, and community leaders globally. This engagement does not have a particular agenda or purpose related to US foreign policy or religious conversion. The engagement is one of friendship, listening, support, and seeking to connect in order to better understand each other.
In a world where spiritual values are often disconnected from practical realities, Jesus challenges us to respond to real need with an authentic Samaritan spirit. The Trac5 model begins with relational engagement and simple friendship. This often opens up the possibility of further involvement: creative "doing" flowing naturally from simple "being." This approach calls for an ongoing process of listening, accountability, and utilization of available resources and services after the initial relationship is established.
Leadership Initiatives
Peacemakers Core There is no competition for "world changers." Most people hardly succeed in transformation of themselves, let alone the world. But exceptional leaders such as Mother Teresa, Martin Luther King, Jr., Nelson Mandela and Mahatma Gandhi have revealed the remarkable fruit that can be borne by the marriage of true faith and determined action by a few dedicated to peace. Trac5 will search for such leadership qualities and mentor those interested in the personal transformation needed using and expanding a network of existing leaders spread throughout 100 countries.
One of our unique and vitally important approaches involves Rapid Deployment Crisis Response Teams trained and ready for challenges in the U.S. like the threat to burn Qur'ans in FL, or the controversy related to the Cordoba Initiative near Ground Zero. Internationally there are extraordinary demands, from individual religious persecution to regional threats like Iran's nuclear ambitions, Pakistan's growing unrest, Somalia’s instability and of course the ever present and challenging peace efforts between Israel & Palestine.
